Parents with children suffering from amblyopia (referred to by some as "Lazy Eye") faces trouble with their children refusing to do unchallenging or rather boring vision correction exercises such as repetitively drawing lines on paper, colouring etc.
Due to that, iPad in-cooperation with opthalmologist designed its first app to assist amblyopia vision correction.
This app has training exercises in which vision is stimulated by looking at the objects through gratings of different thickness and spacing. Children of age 3-8 will gain benefit from this app.
